Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Site Manager at our special educational needs school. The position will suit a practical and self-motivated individual with a flexible approach to their work. Someone who is practical,organised and has a hands on approach will be ideal. Previous experience is desired but not essential. You will be responsible for the school site and to liase with contractors and the senior leadership team to ensure the smooth running of the school. You will lead a small team of cleaners and other site staff including an Assistant Site Manager who you will work closely with. Therefore excellent communication skills and working as part of a team are essential qualities. The successful candidate will ensure the site is safe and secure at all times and that Health and Safety procedures are adhered to. The working hours are 6am-2pm Mon-Thurs and 6am -1.30pm Fri. 25 days holiday entitlement per year increasing to 28 days after 5 years service.
