Wishes to appoint a
Support Officer
Salary: Essex Scale 5 Point 9 - 12
(£22,593.52 - £23,764.62 per annum plus £619.73 fringe per annum)
37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)
41 weeks of the year - term time, inset days plus 2 additional weeks
Brentwood County High School is seeking a highly motivated Support Officer to join their sixth form team. As part of a group of support officers, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks across the sixth form department. The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships with staff, parents and students and have the ability to deal with a variety of administrative tasks. Experience within an educational setting in an administrative capacity would be advantageous.
The Successful Candidate will:
Be the first point of contact for attendance and punctuality.
Support the sixth form team in dealing with telephone calls relating to attendance and punctuality.
Overseeing the sixth form study room - monitoring and supporting the sixth form students
Inputting students onto sims - including personal details and their studies.
Build relationships with sixth form tutors and sixth form students/parents
Provide general administrative tasks to support the sixth form department
