Merrylands Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for an Office Assistant to join the team as soon as possible.
The hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, including a 30 minute break. 35 hours per week term time only for 38 weeks per year.
Salary Scale 4 Point 7 (Range 7-8) Actual Salary: £19,761 per annum (April 2024 Pay rise pending) includes paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Office Assistant to provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the school and to be responsible for attendance and front reception.
The successful candidate will:
· have experience of working in administration and preferably have experience with school IT systems
· have excellent communication skills - you will be expected to liaise with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies
· work as part of a team as well as independently; adhering to the school policies at all times
· be organised and able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
· have GCSE English and Maths at grades A-C or equivalent qualifications
