Lee Chapel Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join its fantastic SEN support team.
Hours - This role is offered on either a part-time basis (8.40am-1pm) or a full-time basis (8.40am-3pm with a 20 unpaid lunch break), term-time only.
Salary - Scale 2 Point 4 to Scale 4 Point6 dependant on qualifications and experience. Actual Salary £11,652 to £12,006 per annum (part-time) and £16,101 to £16,628 per annum (full-time).

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant who can offer SEN support to pupils. Please note, this role is predominantly supporting in the specialist SEND provision hub.

- Can think creatively to engage, enthuse and motivate children
- Is an excellent as part of a team and flexible when required
- Is passionate about supporting all pupils, demonstrating empathy and understanding of different needs
- Is confident and able to work with pupils with challenging needs, including social and emotional needs/behaviours
- Is confident and able to support pupils in small groups and 1:1
- Is able to promote and foster pupil independence
- Has a positive outlook
- Has a passion for working with children to enable them to achieve their potential.
- Has drive to inspire and support children to achieve their best
