Experience:

  • Have a good standard of Maths and English GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or higher, as well as good spoken and written English
  • Have previous experience of working with children in an educational setting
  • Be able to evidence using own initiative to develop children's learning
  • Have a patient and positive approach towards supporting pupils.
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to being part of a team, or to work on own initiative.
  • Put children at the centre of all that you do
  • Be able to contribute to creating a stimulating and purposeful learning environment.
  • Work in partnership with all members of staff and lead classes following teacher guidance
  • Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil's progress
  • Support the class teacher in planning differentiated work for pupils
  • Attend INSET days and training as identified by the Head teacher
  • Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.
