We are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, lively team of compassionate staff. The role involves supporting a Reception aged child with SEN needs, therefore a flexible and adaptable attitude to the role will be required. The role will require an understanding that educational experiences need to look different for different children, and somebody who is happy to support the child throughout the school environment, both inside and outside. Experience with working with children with ASD/PDA would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will need:
Experience of working with or caring for children;
A patient, resilient, nurturing, therapeutic attitude;
Excellent communication skills;
To be creative, enthusiastic, energetic and a real team player;
A clear commitment to the safeguarding of all children.
Hours would be 8.45am -3.15pm Monday to Friday, term time only.
