Actual salary range £18,920pa to £19,902pa

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an English and Maths Progress Mentor. This role is pivotal in supporting students to improve their proficiency in English and Mathematics, enabling them to succeed academically and reach their goals. The English and Maths Progress Mentor will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide targeted intervention and support tailored to individual student needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with our SENDCO and English/Maths team to raise the attainment of some of our most vulnerable students. The role will include, one to one teaching, small group work and supporting students/teachers in lessons when appropriate.

This post will provide an ideal opportunity for you to gain experience working within a school and to develop the skills you will need for the next stage of your career.

You must have a confident approach to working with young people as well a conscientious and flexible attitude to work.
