Shorefields is a special needs school for pupils aged 3 - 19 with complex learning difficulties (SLD, PMLD, ASD).
We have a vacancy for a teaching assistant to join a supportive and committed staff team working to support the educational and welfare needs of our pupils.
Applicants need to have a NVQ level 3 or equivalent and should have relevant experience in a related field working with children with challenging behaviour or supporting the needs of people with disabilities. This is a physically demanding role and a certain level of fitness is required.
This is a term time only position, plus non-pupil days.
26.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Actual gross annual salary for this position is £14,908.44 to £15,360.48.
This is a fixed term appointment until August 2025.

The school is located in the centre of Clacton close to the beach and shopping area. Our catchment area extends to the whole of the Tendring peninsula
