We are seeking to appoint a passionate, experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at our creative, friendly primary school. The role will involve working alongside the class teachers and SENCo team to support learning and follow recommendations from outside agencies including health professionals. You will be responsible for supporting a young person to access their learning successfully.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with experience working with children with additional needs.

The successful applicant will be someone with:

An understanding of children within an educational setting and the ability to support them effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
A commitment to achieving the best for every child.
Be highly motivated.
Good standard of education: Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
The ability to follow direction but also be proactive and use own initiative
Patience and flexibility are essential
Preferably some experience with working with children with a medical need, training will be provided
