We are seeking to appoint a proactive, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our experienced team of Science Technicians.

Here at The King John School we have well equipped and dedicated prep rooms, where the successful candidate would be required to assist with the preparation and organization of all equipment required for lessons at A-Level.

You would be expected to work across all subject areas and be responsible for ensuring all chemical solutions are correctly made. Part of the role would also be to assist in undertaking stock and PAT testing during holiday periods.

The successful individual will need to be flexible in their approach to their work, have exceptional organisational skills and enjoy working with young people.

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive approach to working independently and as part of a team, effectively to promote the school and our students.

You will need to strive to demonstrate, embed and uphold the school's PRIDE core values of Positivity, Resilience, Integrity, Dignity and Equality in order to support the character development of all students.

Here at The King John School we pride ourselves on our excellent high standards and performance. Whilst experience within an education setting would be useful, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

We can offer you:

A dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly and experienced hardworking team of staff
The opportunity to develop within a highly effective multi academy trust
Free Benenden Medical Healthcare cover
Local Government Pension Scheme
A school that is committed to continued professional development

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
