Our Primary Schools

Why Stifford Clays Primary School?

We are a community-focused school for 2 to 11 year olds, located centrally in the Stifford Clays ward of Thurrock. The original infant and junior schools were built in 1954 and were one form of entry. The school has grown hugely to accommodate 90 children in each year group. We have a resource base provision for children with autism.

Stifford Clays Primary School is an extremely happy and positive school. We are an Ofsted 'Good' school (2022) where ''pupils love coming to school'' and "pupils, staff and trustees show great pride in belonging to the Stifford Clays Primary School community."

Our personal development provision is 'outstanding'.

Why Deneholm Primary School?

At Deneholm Primary School, we aim to give all our pupils the best possible start. We are committed to developing the whole child and aim for excellence so that all pupils are ready for their next stage in education and can confidently take their place in modern Britain. We are very fortunate to be able to offer Nurture Provision for those children who need this valuable support.

We are an Ofsted 'Good' school (2023) where "pupils are keen to do well and respond to teachers with enthusiasm across a range of subjects" and "leaders provide training and support to help teachers develop to the highest standard". Our personal development, behaviour and welfare is 'outstanding'.

Why Chadwell St Mary Primary School?

Chadwell St Mary is a very happy, welcoming school with a positive ethos and a commitment to offering outstanding learning opportunities for all children on roll. We are ambitious for our pupils and know that the experiences they have at school will shape their futures. All of our staff, parents and pupils are actively involved in school improvement as important stakeholders.

We are an Ofsted 'Good' school (2019) with effectiveness of leadership and management being noted as a strength: "The Executive Headteacher and Head of School lead the school's work with resolve and determination. They have established a culture of aspiration for pupils' learning and behaviour. All members of staff who responded to Ofsted's online survey say they are proud to work at the school."
