Full or part time roles available (8:40am-3:15pm/ 8:40-1:15pm or 12:15-3:15pm) With immediate start. Includes a lunch duty*. Term time plus INSET days
We are seeking to appoint a passionate, experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at our creative, friendly primary school. The role will involve working alongside the class teachers and SENCo team to support learning and follow recommendations from outside agencies. You will be responsible for supporting a young person to access their learning successfully.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with experience working with children with SEMH needs.
The successful applicant will be someone with:
An understanding of children within an educational setting and the ability to support them effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
A commitment to achieving the best for every child.
Be highly motivated.
Good standard of education: Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
The ability to follow direction but also be proactive and use own initiative
Patience, a sense of humour and flexibility are essential
Preferably some experience with working with children with Social, emotional and mental health needs including diagnoses of ADHD, ODD

Based in Great Dunmow, Essex, Dunmow St Mary's Primary School is a 2FE Foundation primary school with extensive grounds, including our own woodland area and outdoor classroom.
