Hours of Work: 16 hours per week. Term time plus INSET days

Pay Range: Essex Local Government Scale 4, Points 7-8

We are looking to appoint a Design & Technology technician to work in ourtechnology department,ensuring teachers and students have all the resources required for lessons.

This role will involve operating, maintaining and servicing hand tools, power tools and equipment and therefore the ideal candidate will have experience ofworking within a workshop or theconstruction/ engineering industry. A good understanding of health & safety is also desirable.

As the sole provider of practical support, the successful individual will need to be flexible in their approach to their work, be able work well using their own initiative and have good organisational skills.
