Science Technician

Required: immediate start

37 hours per week

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8.00am - 4.00pm

Thursday, Friday 8.00am - 3.45pm

Term time plus 1 week holiday working

Scale 3 point 5-6

Actual annual salary £21,252 - £21,589

We are seeking to appoint a proactive, hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our experienced team of Science Technician.

Here at The King John School we have well equipped and dedicated prep rooms, where the successful candidate would be required to assist with the preparation and organization of all equipment required for lessons.

The successful individual will need to be flexible in their approach to their work, have exceptional organisational skills and enjoy working with young people.

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive approach to working independently and as part of a team, effectively to promote the school and our students.

You will need to strive to demonstrate, embed and uphold the school's PRIDE core values of Positivity, Resilience, Integrity, Dignity and Equality in order to support the character development of all students.

Here at The King John School we pride ourselves on our excellent high standards and performance. Whilst experience within an education setting would be useful, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
