Felmore Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join the team in January 2025 (possibly earlier).
The hours will be 11:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday (15 hours per week) term time only for 38 weeks per year.
Scale 2, Point 3 (Range 3-4) Actual Salary £8,384 per annum (includes paid annual leave which must be taken during closure periods).
Closing Date: Midday on 15th November 2024. Interview Date: Friday 29th November 2024.

We are looking to appoint a hardworking positive Catering Assistant who likes the bustle of a busy kitchen, is able to work well as a member of a team and has knowledge and experience of cooking for large numbers of people within a set time frame.
The ideal candidate will have :
· previous experience of working in a kitchen
· up to date qualifications for food handling, food safety and hygiene
· knowledge of allergies and how this relates to working within a kitchen
· ability to work as part of a team
· good organisational skills in order to meet deadlines
