Midday Assistant required for Hilltop Junior School

Hours: 6.67 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 11.55am - 1.15pm

Working weeks: Term time only (38 weeks per year)

Start date: asap

Salary: £24,362 - £24,733 full time equivalent including fringe allowance (pro-rata).

Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Actual salary: £3,630.31 to £3,685.59

Hilltop Junior School in Wickford are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring Midday Assistant who enjoys working with children to join their friendly, supportive team.

As Midday Assistant you will help to maintain a safe, happy and secure environment during lunchtime for our lovely children.

The successful applicant will:

  • Supervise children in the lunch hall
  • Encourage imaginative play outside (and indoors when it's raining)
  • Ensure the good behaviour of pupils
  • Administer first aid
