The Willows Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Cook to join the team as soon as possible.
The position is for 27.5hrs per week, 8:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday (including a 30 minute break).Term time only - 38 weeks per year.
Scale 4, Point 7 (Range 7-8) Actual Salary £16,339 per annum (including paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods).

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Cook to support our Catering Manager and assist with the provision of high quality, healthy and nutritious meals for our children and staff. You will be working with a team of 5, all of whom have vital roles within the kitchen, preparing and serving 290/320 meals each day.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in the preparation, cooking and service of food. They would also be required to deputise for the Catering Manager when required. Having a Level 3 Food Safety certificate is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
