Here at Bocking Primary School we are looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to support our Catering Manager in producing and serving homemade food for our pupils using local ingredients where possible on a daily basis.
The position is for 17.5 hours per week, term time only. The working hours are Monday to Friday 10am-1.30pm.
Your role will be to assist with all aspect of working in a school catering setting, including the setting up and clearing away of the dining hall, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, the preparation of food, to deputise for the Catering Manager as required, to serve food to our children, staff and on occasions parents.
