This is a rare and excellent opportunity to join our thriving school, with a reputation for high outcomes for pupils, wonderful pastoral care and a strong culture for staff well-being. We are a stand-alone academy where 'Learning for Life' encapsulates everything we do and where children become equipped with the knowledge, skills and character needed to thrive and be the best version of themselves.

At Highwoods, we are passionate about developing the whole child when supporting and nurturing young minds. Our school values underpin everything we do:

Inspirational, Accessible, Aspirational and Resilience.

Through our rich and broad curriculum, our Forest Schools Programme and our love of learning, we provide a stimulating, safe and thriving environment where children learn about themselves and the world around them.

The Trustees of our school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher from February 2025 to cover maternity leave. This job can be either 2 or 3 days - this is flexible depending on the candidate and their capacity. • be a reflective practitioner- keen to learn and develop and collaborate with others

We would encourage the opportunity to show candidates our school prior to interview.
