Wishes to appoint a

Midday Assistant

Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6

(£4,469.07 - £4,783.43 per annum)

8 hours 20 minutes per week

11:50am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday

37 weeks of the year - term time only

Start Date: January 2025

We are looking for an aspirational Midday Assistant to work as part of a team at Little Thurrock Primary School. Midday Assistants create a very positive, happy and secure environment in our playgrounds, dining hall and the school building at lunchtime.

The successful applicant will:-

· Applicants must hold GCSE Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths

· Interact with the children to encourage good social skills and will lead outdoor activities to encourage participation

· Encourage healthy eating, preparing the tables, supervise outdoor play, supervising the clearing up of games and toys, administering first aid and using the school's behaviour plan

· Ensure the safety and care of pupils who are injured or unwell & provide comfort if distressed

· Assist children with Personal Care where necessary

· Be willing to undertake training, including First Aid
