The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring and committed Senior Curriculum Manager to be responsible for ESOL at our Ardleigh Green and Epping Campuses. Reporting to the Group Curriculum Director for ESOL, the Senior Curriculum Manager is a second-tier manager within our directorate structure. Specific to this role is responsibility for Adult and 1618 programmes across Epping and Havering (Ardleigh Green) campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

The core purpose of a Senior Curriculum Manager is to drive up standards and ensure an excellent student experience. As well as teaching to a high standard you will be expected to line-manage a large team of teachers, undertake observations of teaching and learning, support the planning, monitoring and evaluation of the curriculum and work effectively within the directorate leadership team to support day to day operations, curriculum development, quality improvement and the strategic aims of the both the ESOL directorate and the wider college.

Who You Are:

It is essential that candidates have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, a L5 teacher training qualification, ESOL specialism and ESOL teaching experience. Management experience is desirable for this role.
