Playworker for Extended Services to start asap

17.5 hours per week - 48 weeks per year - Hours: 3.00pm - 6.30pm

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Playworker to join our team at Limebrook Primary School and Nursery.

The ideal candidate will need to be organised, proactive and have the ability to develop good relationships with staff, Children and parents in the school.

We want to recruit staff that engage and inspire both pupils and colleagues. Ideal candidates will be resilient, hardworking and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our provision is 'Good or better, everyday'.

The ideal candidate:

● must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
● will hold Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates or the willingness to undertake

● will have previous experience of working with children and preparing food (training will be provided)

● will be aspirational, and hard working

● will be approachable and understanding with the children

The role includes:

● supervising children and ensuring their safety at all times.

● upholding the school's safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour policies and procedures.

● engaging with children in aspects of play and conversation.

● setting up activities for children to optionally take part in.

● meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child's time at the club.

● order, prepare, deliver and clear away food.

● toileting and nappy changing
