Early Years Practitioners - Temple Sutton Primary School

Our ever-busy, growing nursery has two vacancies for Early Years Practitioners. The positions require a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare and education. A certificate in paediatric first aid and food hygiene and the 0-1 baby unit element would be desirable.

Details of the available roles:

  • x1 working 35 hours per week on a rota basis, examples of hourscould be 9-6, 8-3, 9-3:30, 9-4.
  • x1 working 30 hours per week with a typical working week of Mon-Fri 9-3:30

Contract Term:52 week contract (4 week statutory closures including BH & additional holiday allowance)

Salary scale:Level 4 point 6, £25,183 FTE per annum.

Actual annual salary working 35 hours per week: £23,821.77

Actual annual salary working 30 hours per week: £20,418.66

Both roles require a reasonable level of flexibility and may be subject to change, as and when the business need arises.

The role includes working within the ethos of the Learning In Harmony Trust and providing a stimulating environment, where children and families feel valued. To ensure the wellbeing of all young children and support their access to learning (including those with additional needs) and meet the individual children's needs, through play and learning opportunities and general care.
