We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly catering and midday team, ensuring that lunchtime is safe, healthy, and enjoyable for our pupils.
Key responsibilities for this post include:
· Securing the safety, welfare, and good conduct of the pupils during the lunchtime break
· Supervision of pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises
· Maintaining good order and discipline of pupils
· Assist, as directed, with all aspects of the preparation of food and beverages to the standards required by the school
· Undertake washing up and all other aspects of cleaning equipment (light and heavy) on a daily basis
· Serve pupils and staff from the counter or trolley
· Maintain high standards of kitchen and personal hygiene
Successful candidates will need to:
· be enthusiastic and caring individuals
· be calm, flexible team players who are able to workon their own initiative
· have a responsible attitude and friendly demeanour
Previous catering experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
A First Aid qualification would be an advantage, but training will be provided if necessary.
Pay Range: Scale 2. Points 3-4
Pro rated annual salary - £5,576.91 - £5,661.91
Working Hours:
5 days a week 12pm to 2pm (equates to 10 hours per week)
Working weeks are 38 weeks per year. Term time only
