8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, term time plus non pupil days

As our Pastoral & Attendance Officer, you'll play a vital role in:

  • Boosting Attendance: Monitor and manage student attendance, working closely with parents and families to provide support and solutions.
  • Building Connections: Develop meaningful, positive relationships with students and families to enhance engagement and wellbeing.
  • Providing Expert Guidance: Connect families with external support agencies and foster strong school-family partnerships.
  • Driving Impact: Use your skills to operate and maintain attendance databases, generating valuable management information (M.I.) that shapes decisions.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of GCSE grade 4/C in English and maths (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a school environment.
  • A positive approach to behaviour management with creative strategies to support students.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to relate well to children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to upholding our school's vision, mission, and values.
  • Drive, determination, and high expectations to deliver the best outcomes for our students.
