Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
22.5 hours a week (5 mornings and 5 lunch covers) - 39 working weeks per year.
Salary: Scale 3 pt.5 to pt. 6 pro-rated salary £13,291.97 to £13,496.85pa including outer fringe plus pension
This is a permanent position commencing 3rd February 2025
We require an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting young children. You will have a good sense of humour, lots of energy and experience of working with children. The ideal candidate will have LSA experience and have previously worked in a primary school setting. This LSA role will support the class teacher and will involve supporting the children access all learning opportunities indoors and outside. Helping with tasks, whilst encouraging independence and ensuring safety.
The successful candidate will have the following skills: -
· Educated to at least level C GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
· A flexible motivated team player with good organisational skills
· Ability to think creatively to make learning exciting and relevant to all our students
· Be adaptable and able to work with initiative
· Be able to work effectively as part of a team and have high expectations of themselves and children.
