Our ever-busy, growing nursery has a vacancy for a Fixed Term Early Years Practitioner to support child/ ren with SEN on a 1:1 basis as well as part of the team until July 2026.

The positions require a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare and education. A certificate in paediatric first aid, food hygiene and SEN experience would be desirable.

Temple Sutton Early Years are offering the opportunity to work alongside the team supporting children with identified SEND. This may be on a 1:1 basis within the room base as well as providing differentiation within a group situation.

Details of the role:

Contract Term: Fixed Term until July 2026, Term Time only plus inset days

Salary scale: Level 4 point 6, £25,183 FTE per annum.

Actual salary: working 32.5 hours per week: £19,175 per annum 6.5 hrs per day.

The role includes working within the ethos of the Learning In Harmony Trust and providing a stimulating environment to support and promote their individual development.

The practitioner will ensure the wellbeing of all children and support their access to learning. Supporting and meeting the individual children's needs, through play activities ,whilst encouraging routines and safety to be embedded. To create trusting relationships with the nursery SENCO, children's families and any other outside agencies in the child's ongoing learning journey.
