Sports Coach

Hours of work: 8:15-16:00, 36.25 hours per week, term-time only, 43.5wks paid per year

Salary: Dependant on experience Scale 5 Point 12 £28,417 FTE / £23,227 Actual to Scale 6 Point 17 £30,766 FTE / £25,147 Actual

We have an exciting opportunity for a sports coach to join our over-subscribed school. The offer is open to experienced sports coaches with a drive to build on the strong sports provision in our school.

Working with children aged 2-11 years as part of the school team, you will provide safe, high-quality sports education and care for young children.

Duties will include:

· To plan lessons and sequences of lessons to meet pupils' individual learning needs.

· To coach according to the individual needs of pupils, having high expectations and setting challenging targets.

· To lead successful, oversubscribed after school clubs which receive good feedback form pupils, parents and the wider community

· To attend staff meetings and in-service training courses and meetings as requires.

· To keep completely confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff which is acquired as part of the job.

· To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of School.
