Post: Afterschool Club Assistant

We would like to appoint a confident and creative person to assist in our growing after school club. The ideal person would have some experience of working with children but this is not essential.

Monday & Wednesday(term time only) -Potential to increase hours

3:15pm - 6.00pm

The role includes supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up activities for children to optionally take part in, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child's time at the club. Having fun in a safe environment!

NVQ Level 2 or 3 Qualifications in play work or childcare or working towards or willing to work towards this qualification would be an advantage, but not necessary. Paediatric first aid qualification is desirable and it is essential that you are willing to undertake further training.

We are part of The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust (EFSPT), a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), School Improvement Team, Well-being Service and Resourced Provisions based in three of our schools, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest. EFSPT was formed in 2018 from a consortium of schools that had worked together for over 20 years, and are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities. The schools maintain their identities but work in a highly collaborative manner supported by a small but very experienced Central Team.
