IPGCE PE Trainee Teacher - Full time
We are looking for a trainee Teacher of PE required to support the departmental vision and strategy for the development of sporting excellence in all parts of the school and the development of the participation rates for all students as part of our ongoing focus onhealth and fitness, leading to lifelong engagement in performing. We wish to appoint for a start in September 2025 for a one year contract.
Day-to-day coaching of different sports in all year groups.
Scheduling, organising and coaching teams across all age groups and abilities during curricular and co-curricular sessions..
Help with the organisation of fixtures where needed.
Undertaking any relevant administration.
Ensure the highest levels of safety standards and safeguarding best practice are upheld in your relevant area.
Regularly auditing equipment and, in conjunction with the Director of Sport, ensure that the programme is suitably resourced.
Organise and leading focussed group work in specialist skill areas.
Monitoring performance data during competition and practice and keeping the Director of Sport informed of the performance of students.
