Attendance & Admissions Administrator
Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week (Monday to Thursday 8:15am to 4:30pm / Friday 8:15am to 4:00pm
Term Time Only (Plus One Week Worked In School Closure Periods)
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, confident and efficient Attendance & Admissions Administrator to work in our busy School Office. This role requires good knowledge of secretarial and pupil matters. The successful applicant's duties will include the efficient administration of attendance and admissions including providing clerial and welfare support to the school. Applicants will require a confident and friendly manner, be a team player, have the ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure. Previous school experience, inclusive of SIMS is essential.
The successful applicant will have:-
- Proven experience in office administration in an educational setting
- Experience of school admissions or school attendance is desirable
- Educated to GCSE A-C or above in English & Maths, with an NVQ as desirable in an area relevant to this post
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to show initiative and work independently efficiently
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and time manage effectively
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for office management (eg Word, Excel, Parentpay, Inventry)
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and willingness to maintain or gain certifications
