Learning Support Assistant - KS1
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring individual to provide support for our children.
You will be working closely with the class teachers and our Inclusion Manager to support those with special educational needs.
To start Tuesday 22nd April 2025
Scale 3
Actual Salary £16,441-£16,691
(£24,790 - £25,183+ £1,013 inner fringe allowance-Pro Rata)
Monday to Friday 27.5hrs (8.45am - 3.30pm)
Flexibility with these hours may be needed
Do you have experience of supporting children?
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring individual to provide classroom and intervention support for our children. You will be working closely with the class teachers and our Inclusion Manager.
The successful applicant will:
Ideally have previous experience of working with individual SEN or vulnerable children.
Be confident in creating and sourcing resources to support the children.
Be confident in maintaining clear progress records that reflect the effectiveness of interventions used.
Be able to work in a team but have the ability to think on their feet and adapt the learning to meet the needs of the children.
Be passionate about developing children's individual talents and needs.
Be willing and able to manage children's personal care needs
Be patient, energetic and flexible.
Be a professional person who is able to give quality feedback to colleagues and other professionals.
Preferably have an NVQ level 2/3 - or other suitable standard of academic qualification
