Scale 6 pts 8-12, actual salary £14,448 per annum based on point 8. Starting point on range is dependent on experience.
Part- time, 20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, fixed term contract for one year.
The working pattern will generally be 2 pm to 6 pm, Monday to Friday however, this will vary during the school year or if staff cover is required.
We require for April 2025 a hard-working, conscientious and self-motivated individual to play a role in helping to maintain our school site and ensuring it is a safe environment for our whole school community to enjoy. If successful, you will be joining our Site Team which consists of a full time Site Manager and a Facilities Assistant.
The successful applicant is likely to have experience in a similar role or have skills that are transferable to the job description.
The main duties fall into four broad categories:
· Caretaking and maintenance - this will include decorating, carrying out repairs and grounds maintenance
· Security - ensuring that the premises are kept safe and secure
· Health and Safety- adhering to the school's Health & Safety Policy
· Working as part of a team or on their own initiative
· Other general duties.
