An exciting opportunity has arisen at our school.
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant for the After-School Care Club (Mini Michael's) which is open Monday to Friday, 3:15pm-6:00pm, term time only (38 weeks and 1 INSET day). Our After School Club is open to children at St Michael's C of E (VA) Junior School and the neighbouring Galleywood Infant School. The successful candidate will join our dedicated team playing games, helping children with homework, preparing light meals and liasing with parents.
A qualification in food safety would be desirable but training will be given. A commitment to our children, their safety and enjoyment of our club is a requirement.
We require you to work on a Monday and Tuesday from after Easter. From June, you would be required to work on Monday, Tuesday and Fridays.
Remuneration will be on Essex Scale 2 point 3 - 4 based on experience. The fulltime equivalent pay for working 37 hours per week and 52.14 per year is £24,027-£24,404. Based on working 3 afternoons per week actual pay is £4,490.16 - £4,560.62 per annum.
This would be an excellent opportunity for an individual starting on their career in childcare or wishing to get experience in a school with a view to progressing in the education sector or an experienced individual who is looking for more hours.
