Assistant Cook - Thaxted Primary School

Have you experience of food preparation and looking for your next opportunity? Do you like working with children? If so, we may have the role you are seeking. Thaxted Primary School are looking for an Assistant Cook to join our friendly catering team.

As part of our busy kitchen team this role involves:

· All aspects of preparing, cooking and serving of food.

· Following sound hygiene practices.

· Deputising for the Cook as required.

· Carrying out some cleaning duties.

The successful candidate should preferably be educated to NVQ level 2 with some previous experience of food preparation. Training will be given.
