We are looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of A Level Sociology at this Outstanding sixth form college. The ability and desire to teach a 2nd subject from Level 3 Health and Social Care, Economics, Law, Politics, History or Psychology or Criminology an advantage.

You should have a good honours degree in Sociology or a closely related subject and the post is open to new entrants to the profession as well as experienced teachers. A trainee would also be considered, commencing June 2025, with a requirement to undertake a locally based 2-year part time PGCE course from September 2025 alongside 'on the job' training with remission time being given.
