We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a childcare setting and a genuine love for working with children. As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents will be essential in fostering positive relationships within our nursery setting. You be working along side our other seniors in order to create the best outcomes for the children.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across various domains, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
Supervise and support children during playtime and structured activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
Establish positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being, fostering an open line of communication.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment that meets health and safety standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective strategies for managing behaviour and supporting children's individual needs.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage small groups of children effectively while promoting teamwork among staff members.
