Required for SEPTEMBER 2025 - The Governing Body of Grays Convent High School would like to appoint an inspirational and dynamic full-time Teacher of Religious Education, possibly with some Humanities. This is a fixed term contract for one year with the possibility of a permanent position. The post is suitable for both ECTs and those with more experience. As we are a Catholic school it is desirable that the post holder will have a Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS) but it is not essential.
The successful candidate will be:
• A successful and inspirational teacher with experience of teaching at KS3 and KS4
• A well-qualified practitioner with a passion for Religious Education and Humanities
• Able to motivate and enthuse pupils by a commitment to excellent teaching
• A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic, a team player, self-motivated and committed to further professional development
