Send Class Teacher (Autism)
Part Time 60%

Salary: MS - UPS and TLR to be confirmed
We are seeking a SEND class teacher for our Enhanced Provision for Autism based at Potter Street Academy. The role involves working as part of a job share to deliver a unique, highly adapted SEND curriculum for eight pupils aged 5-11. We are looking for an experienced teacher with expertise in Autism, who is ready to make a real difference to neurodiverse learners.

Passmores Co-operative Learning Community (PCLC) are proud to host both the primary and secondary West Essex Enhanced Provisions for Autism, for the Local Authority. In April 2024 we opened the Enhanced Provision (primary) based at Potter Street School. Essex have been fully committed in their investment and the Potter Street Hub is a beautiful self-contained unit with a sensory room. Our teams at Potter Street are passionate practitioners who enjoy their work.
Our successful candidate will have experience of and passion for working with children with autism and will share the Trust's commitment to inclusion. They will be passionate about meeting needs, positively identifying adaptions and adjustments for our young people with care, courtesy and willingness as core values.
