Administrative Assistant

Scale 3 (Actual salary, £7473.64)

13 hours a week, term time only

2 days a week, Monday and Thursday (8:30-3:30pm)

To commence 30th June 2025

Northlands Primary School & Nursery are looking to appoint an experienced, confident and efficient part-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist with a cheerful and positive attitude and a willingness to support other members of the administrative team as required.

The successful candidate will be very well organised with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to demonstrate strong initiative and flexibility. A good level of English and Mathematics is required. Previous experience of working in a school office is desirable.

Duties will include:

· Supporting the Attendance Officer with attendance.

· Reception - greeting visitors and taking deliveries.

· Pupil welfare.

· Providing hospitality to visitors.

· General clerical work, including sending emails, typing word documents and photocopying/scanning.

· Using the school communication app to liaise with parents.
