We are looking for two positive, flexible, compassionate people to join our friendly team at this brand new independent school for 12 pupils, opening in September. We have exciting opportunities for applicants who wish to develop their skills and experience in this area, as you willbedesigning and delivering a tailor-made curriculum for a smallgroupof children andsupervisingdesign and delivery of a curriculum by HLTA's.
You will be responsible for a class / key group of 4 children and will teach these small groups or on a one to one basis. Lessons and activities will be at the school and around the local area, using specialist support teams for extra curricular activitiesand you will be required to transport and accompany children to these. Ownership and use of a car full time, as well as a full driving license, is therefore essential.
The successful applicants will need to have substantial recent special school experience teaching pupils with SEN.
This is a great opportunity to develop skills in working with SEN pupils in a special school setting. A commitment to working as part of a team, being teachable, teaching / supporting others and to developing your own skills is essential.
Information about the School
Clarity Independent School is a small special needs school for pupils with complex profiles of learning and SEND. We take pupils aged between 6 and 17 years and all pupils are referred to the school by the Statutory Assessment team of several Local Authorities around the Essex and surrounding areas. We have 13 places.
