THE GATEWAY ACADEMY

Salary: Teachers' Main / Upper Payscale plus TLR2B £4,654 per annum

Start Date: January 2020

The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London. Our mission is to offer everyone opportunities to develop as high achieving, resilient, healthy, aspirational, caring and fulfilled members of society

We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed person to build up a Music department within our thriving Arts Faculty. The successful candidate will deliver lessons to years 7 and 8 for the academic year 2018/2019, with a view to help create and implement Music into the curriculum for years 9, 10 and 11 as the years progress.

We can offer outstanding facilities with iMac suites, practice rooms, keyboards, African drums and a state of the art theatre for productions. There are also fantastic opportunities to collaborate within the faculty and with external providers to showcase the talents within the Gateway Academy and Arts department.
