Required for September 2020, the Head of Mathematics will be an exceptional existing or developing curriculum leader who can deliver student progress; lead teachers in the implementation of the curriculum and educational practices that result in exceptional student achievement. You will also be responsible for the day to day smooth running of the Maths Department.
In recent years our academy has experienced a rapid growth in student numbers. We are an aspirational academy operating across two school sites approximately 1 mile apart. This opportunity is based at our 14-19 Upper Academy.
The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and will be able to evidence the skills required to lead and motivate a team. You will be an outstanding Mathematics teacher and leader, able to demonstrate impact in a leadership role, and have an enthusiasm that will inspire Mathematics students to outstanding outcomes.
