This post presents an exciting opportunity for an inspirational teacher to challenge our highly able students in a subject which attracts large Advanced Level numbers. Experienced applicants are also welcome to indicate their interest in a TLR post as a Pastoral Leader (Head of Year). The TLR post attracts a responsibility payment of £4,813 as well as a significant timetable reduction.
This position would suit a qualified Chemistry teacher, or a suitably qualified graduate with a desire to train as a teacher of Chemistry.
Through our own induction programme, and the use of external agencies, we have a proven record of securing QTS for talented graduates who join us without a formal teaching qualification. There are also excellent professional development and leadership opportunities for experienced teachers.

WHSB is a selective Academy Grammar School which has been designated Outstanding by OFSTED. Our School currently has 900 boys at 11-16 and 370 students in its mixed Sixth Form.
