Speech and Language Therapist - Newly qualified / band 5 / band 6 equivalent (dependent on experience)
Hours - 3 to 5 days per week (negotiable).
Contract type - fixed term, with possibility of extension
The Edith Borthwick School is a large special school which caters for learners aged 3-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties including ASD. We aim to deliver functional and integrated therapy across the school working closely with teaching and support staff.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist who is looking to grow and develop their skills alongside our strong existing team and have a positive impact on our learner's life chances. The successful candidate will join our established and supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team which includes a Senior SLT, SLTs and an Occupational Therapist. You will receive CPD opportunities, clinical and peer supervision.
We will consider a newly qualified therapist who is eager to learn, as well as therapists with more experience of working with young people with SEND. Experience of working in a special school setting is preferable. Applicants must have a relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be HCPC and RCSLT registered.
