Job Description

We are seeking a catering assistant to join our busy catering team.

Pay Range: Local Government Scale 2 £17,364 - £17,711 (Point 2 - Point 3)

Working Hours: 25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only).

Actual Salary From:£10,211 - £10,415

Start Date: As soon as possible

The Role

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

· The preparation and simple cooking of food & beverages.

· Serving customers at the counter/hatch or from a trolley or kiosk as required.

· Undertaking all aspects of cleaning equipment (light and heavy), walls (up to 6ft.) floors, fixtures and fittings, cooking utensils, cutlery, glassware etc. as directed.

We're looking for you if you have:

• Experience of the preparation and cooking of simple food & beverages
• The ability to use kitchen and cleaning equipment
• The ability to complete basic forms
• Good organisational skills
• The ability to follow instructions
