Hours: 30 hours per week
Actual salary: £13,631.09 to £14,091.21 (FTE £19,698 to £20,092)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic LSA to join our wonderful school and support our sparkly children for 5 days a week (8:30am to 3:30pm), Monday to Friday (including INSET days).
The successful candidate will be working initially in a Year 3 classroom in a varied role: supporting a child with ASD/ social, emotional and mental health needs; a child with diabetes (full training will be given) as well as providing support to other children in the class. He or she may also be asked to assist with cover over the lunchtime period and/ or breakfast club and this will be paid accordingly.
We are a very supportive team of professionals who invest in our staff and you will be given any additional training / CPD that you need. Staff also have access to the Schools Advisory Service wellbeing package which includes counselling, physiotherapy, weight management, menopause and cancer support, nurse consultations, mindfulness sessions etc.
We welcome applications from new or experienced LSAs and those who are looking to gain some school experience before pursuing a career in teaching.
This will be a fixed term contract in the first instance until 31st July 2022 but may be extended subject to our SEN funding.
