Churchgate Primary School SENDCo Vacancy
We are looking for someone available for an October or January start!
Part time: 2 days a week.
Do you have the drive, passion and commitment to lead and deliver learning and teaching to young people in a disadvantaged community?
We are looking to recruit a passionate and dependable SENDCo to join us.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator (SENDCo) with a proven track record of success in improving standards and raising pupil success and have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of our young people.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and motivational skills.
Our ideal SENDCO will have
· Qualified Teacher Status
· SENDCO Qualified
· Experience of successfully working with pupils of Primary age
· Understanding of strategies for meeting the needs of pupils with SEND
· A good, up to date working knowledge of the SEND code of practice and its practical application
· Able to work in partnership with other agencies
· Used to handling some aspects of challenge
· Able to inspire confidence in the children you support and staff you work in partnership with
· Happy to get involved in whole school life
We are looking for a highly committed professional with a real love for the role as a SENCO.
