Tollesbury is a friendly, village school that has strong links with the local community. We are seeking to appoint an organised, friendly, reliable and professional person with excellent administrative and interpersonal skills to work in our busy School Office and as part of our Lunchtime team.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- has good literacy and numeracy skills
- has good computer skills (a knowledge of SIMS would be desirable)
- can maintain confidentiality at all times
- will treat every child and adult with respect
- is a team player with a sense of humour
- has a flexible approach to daily tasks and is able to use their own initiative
- can multi-task and work calmly and accurately under pressure
Duties will include:
- supporting our busy reception
- answering telephone and parent queries
- administering first aid to pupils and staff
- collating dinner numbers and liaising with the catering manager
- managing the school dinner money programme and debt management
- liaising with parents via School Ping and Pay 360
- photocopying
- word processing, data entry and other administrative/reception tasks as required
- ensuring that children have an enjoyable and safe dinner time
