Part Time Learning Support Assistant
Scale 3 Points 4-5
Part-time
Term Time 38 Weeks
Working Pattern:
8.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch (30 hours per week)
Fixed Term Contract until 2024 initially, to start as soon as possible.
We would like to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team. This post is to provide support for a child with additional needs mainly and/or general classroom learning support, when required.
We are looking for a colleague who:
Has experience working with children with high needs on order to support them to reach their full potential.
Is confident to deal with social, emotional and behaviour issues, underpinning approaches on positive relationships and mutual respect.
Provides good evidence that their knowledge and abilities are closely matched to the person specification.
Is positive, warm and friendly with children, parents and colleagues.
Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Enjoys taking an active role in the work and development of the school.
Is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our children.
